2nd Tea lunch fellowship 2013

9 turn up for our group 2nd tea lunch fellowship for the golden Snake year on 26th Janurary Saturday, all the way to Sg Buloh village Yin Her Fishing restaurant.

1st dish to order the Yee sang as we are all very hungry due to the traffic jam, reaching the restaurant around 1330 hrs.


Yee sang due to all ingredients are pre prepare, therefore it is the first dish to arrvie within minutes, while waiting for the boiling water for brewing ouer tea.


This Choi Heaong taufu is my most favourite...


The Xiaguan raw toucha 1902 turn out to be the best of the 3 puer tea that we test tasted during this tea fellowship lunch

Come in 2nd is this Bao Hong raw may 2012 and the 3rd is the Bulang Shan 2007 our last brew of the day. Among our group we purchase a total of 4 cartons..

Tea Master David 3rd Brew

There are total 9 for this 2nd tea lunch fellowship 2013, after the tasting of Xiaguan toucha 1902 and Bao Hong 2012 May, David going to brew Bulang Shan raw 2007 for us to test taste which is the best out of the three puer tea.

The unmark Bulang Shan raw 2007, as the restaurant does not provide the neccessary brewing facilities that are require to brew good pot of puertea, we bring along the tea tray for the breaking up of puer tea cake wiht puer needle beside electric kettle n mineral water.

fried squid crispy outside but the fresh tender n juicy, this is the best comapre to other restaurant where the squid fresh are tough to bite..just go well with drinking raw puer tea..

The Nyoya style steam tilapia fish was the best of the all dishes order, everyone love this, half of the fish gone while I was busy taking pictures..

Rotary Club Petaling Jaya, Tea dinner meeting.

RTN Alice Teoh selected Purple Cane tea retaurant for their club evening meeting for January, she must be a veteran tea drinker or prefer healthy coooking type of foods in order to select such avenue..

The tea demonstration etc only start after the dinner, 2 best lady tea brew master was to brew Yuk kwai cha from Mt. MuYi.




Aromatic Yuk Kwai cha is one of the 10 most famous tea from Mt. Muyi, however this tea very aromatic but can only give you 3 brew. In order not to waste the 1st brew it was serve to the guests which is also the best, 2nd n 3rd brew the aroma n taste most gone..

Given the chance I prefer to brew both the ripe n raw puer tea for the club members, as it is most suitable than any other black or green tea.Puer tea know as the living tea ( a tea that does rot n turn into dust) but continue living for hundred years ..
those who drink puer live longer..Hahaha.

Purple Cane Tea Restaurant

Purple Cane Tea restaurant, Shaw Bros, shopping complex, Pudu, kuala lumpur,I and Terry was there last night as an invited guest, Rotarian Liew Shou Kong on the occasion of Rotary Club P.J. dinner meeting of the month.

Purple Cane Tea is one of the most well establish tea merchant in K.L. and also a pioneer in the introduction foods cook with a few such tea restaurant in various shopping mall in the city. Tea lady brew and serve ripe puer tea.

saulted clery, lily roots, celery, macadamia nuts in oolong tea.
Below braised chicken with sweet chili sauce tea sauce, serve wiht fried bun.

fried prawn with green tea sauce, otherwise think it is wasabi..


side order Yee sang, overall the all tea dishes did not live to my expectation as without advance informations I won't know this are dishes cook in tea broth etc..there isn't any tea taste at all, or tea leaves but I must admit it is simple healthy foods cook without msg etc..the only exception is the Yee sang.
