KEYIXING Puer Brick


Our last Saturday lunch at Puer Tea restaurant, courtesy of the restaurant Ms April on my request brew it for us for test tasting together with the wonderful dishes we order.


This picture taken while the keyixing brick still inside the wraper block, the taste was smooth, aromatic which remind me of my 2 bricks left untouch for years, I think it is by at least 15 yrs old above..which is much older than this..


Keyixing tea broth just goes well with the foods..


Above 3 layer pork very tasty most suitable to eat n drink tea or beer...


Half salty free run chicken, also best to drink raw puer tea when eating even thought it is not as salty as those Salt chicken..
Bitter gourd with salty egg york another of our favourite vege dishes here.

Tea Pot Hanger


My fren terry give me a tea pot hanger set, just nice two of small Choo ni clay tea pot can fit in nicely, so it is hand free now when brewing n pouirng out the tea broth.

Puer Tea Restaurant


For tea drinkers, this restaurant at Sri Petaling beside providing customers with a good chocies of menu, it is so far to my knowledge a restaurant that cerve customers with a good pot of ripe/raw puer tea.


This restaurant is also a puer tea shop selling only Bao Yong Yan Ji brand of puer tea only, this is the only restaurant beside PINE ( vegetarian)at Jalan Ipoh Road, K.L


A glass tea pot 3 in 1, wth filter and also add as a pitcher, moist suitable to brew tea in a restaurant for a group of 6 person above..

Puer Tea Restaurant


My Family of 6 adults and four grand children having lunch at the Puer tea restaurant, the best thing about it beside the tasty foods are the brerwing of ripe puer tea, as the restaurant owner also a tea merchant.


The snake head fish is a great fighting fish, flesh are smooth and tender, it  is not easy to get such snake head fillets, as not many restaurant serve this dish.

 


Pork rib bone in thick heavy sauce and the ever popular sweet and sour pork with onion n pineapple.. 

 


Four season fried vege, four type vege ...lotus taste crispy..
below freid chicken nugget dip in sour sauce..

 


kai lan 2 varieties, the chopp shedded so crispy...


spicy lamb and kung poh chicken however this dish different from the Shanghai style of hot n spicy, this is not spicy just like any other fry dishes.

Drinking Liu Bao Cha


I can relax and just drink gold award 2010 liu bao cha when our great tea brewer David busy brewing tea for us at Yi Xian bak Kut Teh restaurant.


This gold award 2010 liu bao cha was selling at RM180 per kg, but now the price is RM580 per kg but you can only get this from private collectors... 


Shou kong and me just enjoy drinking while David busy brewing the various type of tea we bring along.. 


Yi Xiang bak kut teh restaurant so far is the only bak teh restaurant tht provide full tea utensils for it customers, truly live up to the standard of bak kut teh since teh mean cha or tea...


for the brewing of ripe puer and liu bao cha no need to weight first as you can put in any amount the more thye tea broth will be ticker n stroner depending what taste you wanted..but for the raw puer espcially the 1000 yrs old temple puer tea david need to weight first about 9-12 gms for 5 person jut nice...


David bring along his feng Shui yixing tea pot for to brew this raw puer tea..

 


My favourite yam rice this is the best so far not many bak kut teh restaurant provide yam rice..

Yi Xiang Bak Kut Teh


Last Saturday 27th October, we decided to return back to our all time favourite bak kut teh restaurant, old Klang Road, this is the only bak kut teh that provide customers with nice ceramic tea pot n tea cups, tea pitcher and plastic tea tray, therefore it is very easy for customer to bring their own tea to brew or just select some tea from the restaurant.


My favourite is still the Pai Gu or rib bone, however this only 2 pieces whereas previously 3 pieces !!! 


the 3 layer or Chew Pai Bah forever our great tea master David, so he must drink more thick strong puer tea etc this time.

 


Ahaha intestine and pork stomach also David favourite but Chris, Siew Lim but I do hve a few pieces of the stomach only.

 


Wow this big bone order by Chris,however i notice the big bone remain big but some of the lean meat attach to the bone was gone by 20%.


soft bone or Ruan gu easy for those with a strong teeth to chew..also the bean sprout taste crispy..
